Spicy Beef Liver Fry

Beef liver - 1/2 kg
curry leaves - 2-3 stems
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
chillie powder - 1 tsp
pepper powder - 11/2 tbs - 2 tbs
shallots - 11/2 cup chopped
ginger - 1 tbs
garlic - 1 tbs
garam masala - 2 tbs
tomato ketchup - 2 tbs
vinegar - as needed
coconut oil - as needed

Method:

Cut liver into cubes and wash well, use vinegar to rinse once and wash it off.
Heat 2-3 tbs oil in a pan, Add the curry leaves, ginger, garlic, shallots, saute. Then add the powders and the beef liver and cook it with a lid on, till the liver is almost done around 10- 15 mts. Uncover the pan, add more oil and fry the liver till the water is absorbed and the dish is dry, don't over cook it or it'll be rubbery. Add more curry leaves and pepper if needed, finally the ketchup and cook it for a few mts, serve hot with rice or roti.
