This is a quick recepie for making kebabs or burgers. Try it, you'll love it.
Ingredients:
Beef or lamb - lean ground meat - 1/2 kg
Ginger - 1 tbs finely chopped
Garlic - 1 tbs finely chopped
Pepper - 2 tsp
Garam masala- 1 heaped tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
bread crumbs- optional if mixture is too moist to shape
Wochestershire sauce - 2 tsp
Salt- to taste
freshly squeezed lime juice - 2 tbs
Method:
Mix all the ingredients well and shape them as patties if you are making burgers, or as sausages for kebabs. Pan fry the patties/ kebabs on a greased frying pan or bake them if preferred till done. Serve with chapatties, naan, pita or as burgers. A salad made of cucumbers, onion, tomatos, olives and coriander leaves and greek youghrt or just lime or mayo is also a good combination.
